Before you decide to obtain your mortgage with the Halifax in Spain, be sure to research it thoroughly. The obvious things you must consider are that you are exposed to any changes in the value of the euro. However, on the plus side, you can transfer the money from the Halifax in the UK to the Halifax in Spain free of charge.
